I have a Sonic by my house in Frisco, Texas so I know the food can be good quality. However at this particular location I had a fish sandwich which was probably the worst fish sandwich I've ever had from anywhere. I was in a hurry so I was already on the road when I opened it up. I would have thought it was fish jerky. It was so dried out and flat I could tell it had probably been under the heat lamp for at least two to three hours. I travel through this area at least once a month and you can bet I will never stop at this Sonic location again!
Sprite Zero with strawberries is a big treat for us. Love the way Sonic does it. They put real strawberries in the drink.
Cheap poorly made fast food delivered to your car. Not only is the parking stall not sized well for pulling up next to the screen which you have to interact with to start the order process but when your food is delivered it's really awkward to have to shimmy it in through the tight space. Forget about getting out of your car to throw away trash or use the bathroom. I'm definitely not sold on the curbside gimmick with these stupid screens. I'm definitely not sold on the lousy food either. This place sucks.
I've been inside this restaurant in the evenings. They do not sweep and mop the floors. They pressure wash the floors while preparing food. The trash, dirt and oil on the floor all fly into the air in a mist caused by the pressure washer. Causing it to land on everything inside. Counter tops, bags, cups and even food that is being cooked and prepared. It is very disgusting. And from what I was told. All sonic restaurants do this.
